how precious
blouse - j. crew hand-me-down from my mom
make-shift skirt - actually an anthro dress
belt - made my me (orginally used for my 5th grade Halloween costume as a 50's girl...now I'm a 50's girl every other day)
flats - nordstrom's
This was my attempt to defeat my jetlag the first day home: my greatest weapon against life's defects is an outfit that makes me feel well put-together.
I sound like Blair... Tell me, how many of you watch Gossip Girl? I'm curious...

mmm, gossip girl. awe, you wore this when i saw you! with your chanel perfume and lipstick! you look very put-together and grown-up:)
p.s. doile border? explain.
I like the doile border!
I do not not watch gossip girl, although you would like me to!
Funny, it took me a minute to realize you were in Kendal's room in that picture!
I like the doile border as well! I watch GG in passing if I happen to be at the tv when it comes on. I read the books initially and I was disappointed in the casting of Jenny. She was supposed to be this akward, frizzy-curly haired, self-conscious about her large breasts, character and they cast all grown up Cindy Lou Hoo. I love Leighton Meister however and the clothes are to die for obviously.
Anyways, your outfit could cure jetlag it's so cute : )
Yeah, I read the books as well when they were just coming out. I had always said, This should be a TV series! I was so pumped when it became one. Jenny is a lot different in the TV adaption, but overall I think they have done an awesome job. Can't wait for season 3. :)
And thank you!
