Last night I was fortunate enough to watch Running With Scissors, a film based on the memoir of Augusten Burroughs. I had read the book last summer and was pleased to find the film ringing true of its roots and providing a dreamy array of 70's bliss. It flourished beyond all expectation and has left me quite inspired. I highly recommend both the book and the film if you're looking for something new, quirky, and thoughtful.

I love the part where they say they need higher ceilings with the song, 'year of the cat' by al stewart playing. Such a great movie...
I'm so glad you've seen it! It's lovely.
