photo diary: ted's visit, day one
Last Friday, my dad and I picked up Ted from the airport. Ted was afraid to go outside in the heat, and I don't blame him. The moment we went outside into the parking structure, he had a look of terror on his face--and that was just the fully covered parking lot!
Once we got home, Ted settled in and I made us paninis while he started prepping for the fruit tarts we were making for my mom's birthday party that night. Ever since my mom saw the tarts he made me for my 19th birthday, she has been wanting one. She and her friends were not disappointed!
Before the festivities started, my good friend Rachel stopped by to say hi and show me her engagement ring.
Wait, what?
Yep, one of my best friends is engaged! I am so excited for her, and you better believe I (and all of our crafty friends) am hatching ideas already.
Once the party started, Ted and I had fun eating appetizers, taking pictures, and chatting with family friends. I was so happy to have him meet everyone, and show him off! I thought it was really funny when he was fascinated by the misters in our backyard. (Ceiling fans and misters are vital if you want to have a comfortable outside party space in 110 degree weather.) He's cute.
More days to come...

I totally creeped through all of Ted's pictures from his visit last night at, like, three in the morning when I couldn't sleep.
I love your photo diaries! Also, I love Ted even though I don't know him at all. Tell him I think he is cool.
You are the best! I will definitely tell him you think he's cool. :)
