Welcome to My Documents!

Sometimes, for kicks, I rummage through "My Documents," trying to clean sweep, but usually just finding a whole lot of awesome nonsense like this:

Yes, this is me. Not long ago, actually. Last winter. Tim let me wear his sweater at lunch, with emo-like results. I think it's the bangs and facial expression that do it. So naturally, Kate made this for me. I love her for this. It makes me laugh hysterically every time I stumble across it.

Let me just throw this one out there:

I MISS SCHOOL HARDCORE.

mark twain

Today I started reading Huckleberry Finn for my English class. I actually did read Tom Sawyer back in the sixth grade, but truthfully I literally only remember the part where he tricks the kid to paint the picket fence for him.
Basically, I am hoping I can be at least a sliver as awesome as Mark Twain when my hair goes white... We watched video about him last week that was a riot. Apparently he took a liking to wearing a gown awarded to him by Oxford University--even to his daughter's wedding. I admire that, for some peculiar reason. (I'm sure his daughter wouldn't have agreed.)

favorites

Rarely do I find it necessary to have favorites, but somehow lately, I have accumulated a few. They are as follows:

Favorite Movie: Wall-e Okay, this movie was the cutest thing I have ever experienced. After sushi last night, Katie, Dahlya, and I watched it and I almost instantly fell in love with the story. Again, not much of a kids movie, but a total Kaylie movie. Loved it!

Favorite Author: Jonathan Safran Foer The last book I read was Everything is Illuminated (also a great movie by the way) and the current book I am reading is Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close. It is a sad truth that these are currently Foer's only novels, but he is young, so I am hopeful. See also: Current crush
